Information about Beefmaster Cattle
Beefmaster cattle, which are a combination of Brahman, Hereford and Shorthorn influences, were first developed by Lasater Ranch to thrive in the South Texas humid and rugged climate. Though reddish brown is the most common color, Beefmasters can greatly vary in color and color patterns.
Beefmasters focus on what are called the Six Essentials: Weight, Conformation, Milking Ability, Fertility, Hardiness and Disposition.
