Note: The bull, Samson, which you highly regarded has an equally poor performance chart. I believe many of the best bulls this breed has ever seen have very low performance data. Yet, when comparing fields and pens of calves, many of the sires with low performance charts have the best calves. Perhaps this is due to the honor system used in the Beefmaster breed. I don't know, but wanted to point this out.
